Knowing who to Trust

Trusting Who?

As a child , I was taught by word or deed to trust no one! So through the years of marriage I didnt totally trust my husband. I did know that he wouldn’t cheat on me. We both had accepted Christ as our savior. His character was honorable but he was a bully.

He would say things thinking he was funny but very hurtful. he had a bad childhood too. So the feelings he had made him angry and resentful. He didnt understand about Jesus’s love for each of us. I tried to serve but we had a very rocky road marriage wise.Over the years we’ve been listen to 4 or 5 various ministers from early morning hours and gaining knowledge about most of the walk we’ve been on and slowly through scriptures of the Bible that has helped mature in our walk with each other through physical pain and mental pain of hurt.

Healing through speaking outloud words to our selves and to each other. Breaking through by forgiveness to ourselves and to each other. By realizing that God gave us love through Jesus, we could shift our trust and love to the Lord. What a relief and gift!!

We just celebrated our 60th yes our 60th anniversary. WOW!!!!!!

Moving Through the Years!
