About

Life is a journey of growth – physically, in soul, and in spirit.

During the polio epidemic, I was afflicted with the disease. I lost the use of my body, except for my lungs. Over time, I recovered most of my functions, with the exception of my left arm.

During my recovery, someone gifted me a picture of Jesus Christ knocking at the door. That image became a beacon of hope for me. It was at the tender age of 7 that I accepted Jesus as my Savior. At age 8 my half sister committed suicide. My childhood was a challenge due to familial dysfunction. However, love found its way into my life, and I met my husband. Even though we’ve been through so much in our journey Jesus gave me joy and peace while on earth. Deep down knowing thatGod loves me no matter what I do. It envelopes me with a security blanket.

I closed my gallery 8 years ago and took a break from the hustle and bustle and trying to do it my way instead of God’s way. Occasionally, I wrote blogs and painted. Though I’ve maintained websites over the years, I recently received a commission to paint John 14:6 on three 48×24 canvases: “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me’”. I am embarking on this new project with excitement.
