Maybe it’s just me but it seems that the pace has accelerated in social networking. It’s also teaching me to keep up with the technical whiz bang stuff . I belong to many groups on LinkedIn and looking to expand into new groups on facebook. Whew!
I’m also working on new substrates for painting. I love painting! I’m also redoing some old paintings anew. It’s because I’ve been learning about myself and because I’m looking at things in a new way some of my work has to be redone. The journey will get even more complex but I think this old dog can handle all the new tricks. What do you think?
What’s nice about the social networking sites is that if you try it and find that it’s too much to handle or that it’s not your cup of tea, you can just delete it. Oh, and it didn’t cost you any money.
True, true
Lori:
I just saw your video and loved it. I too get centered in the morning on my daily walks to the horse field. It has my special spot and I get centered. The best days in the studio are when I have become present with myself.
I cut TV out of my life 9 months ago and my mind is quieter. i never realized what a time and energy sucker it was–not to mention how much space it takes up in my head.

That is a great idea turning off the noise. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video, Joan.
