It’s been 9 and a half weeks since I fell. I have a compressed fracture that affects my spine a Lumbar 1. It was a surprise. Two days I went to the Emergency room and had a scan. The fracture didn’t show up so went home to deal with it. 2 weeks later went to Emergency again. A C scan again but this time it showed the fracture. I was admitted to the hospital for 5 days. During this all this time got hardly any sleep, especially in the hospital. Fitted with a a harness like belt. Only saw a therapist 3 times. Finally got home had to call to have a therapist come to house for exercises. Hired assisted helpers. Larry could hardly walk but through Assisted living help we got on a program. Thank goodness we could place an order for groceries and Larry could pick up the order.

Through all this Larry and I put our trust in the Lord and have peace and contentment promised by Jesus! Larry and have not fought at all! I now can walk standing straight up.

we can now go to a restaurant and just the other day to the store. I feel so blessed and grateful!!
