To try to take our work into the public can be a scary thing to do but it takes discipline and connections with others to put the art to be seen.   Connections with family, friends, teachers, art groups all help to ease us to growing to the next level.  I taught a group of artists this weekend about understanding their art by using exercises writing their artist statement ( plus).  By sharing in conversations with others you gain confidence to talk about your art and even grow your art.
